tried this on 3 different browsers. none worked, and no im not going to try firefox, i find it unnecessary to download an entirely new browser just for a game

What I know, you can ask a friend from another country to purchase it as a Steam gift for you or use VPN.

Yup, this is intended. You can add the game to your wishlist for now, release will be very soon, about middle of April.
There isn't written in the demo that the game is available right now, just link where it will be. But I agree the wording might suggest it's ready.
make a gallery for each scene players discover
The point is there are so many CG variations that gallery is a bit hard to do. You can skip dialogue by holding Ctrl. There's a "Hide UI" button at the bottom in the middle to compensate lack of proper gallery.
I'd like to play the full game, but kind of wish I could buy it here... cause I'd be getting some really weird stares from my friends if they saw me owning this game.
I understand, but selling on itch.io would complicate my local taxes :/
